The twisted shapes caught my attention of these dancing trees. It was a very hot day at the Domain Chandon champagne maker. So I named the painting after my favorite champagne.

I painted these trees the day after I rolled a car and travel trailor. I called it "On Fire" because I was so happy to be alive. And grateful that I could still "see". The accident made me deeply aware of how much I loved to paint.
